Mr Chana graduated in Medicine with a distinction in Surgery from London University in 1991. He undertook his training in London, gaining a scholarship from the British Association of Plastic Surgeons (BAPRAS) to train for a year at a specialist state-of the art hospital in Taiwan, in complex forms of facial surgery, a result of which, he is now not only an invited Professor but a large part of his work today is devoted to facial plastic surgery, including facial rejuvenative surgery and Rhinoplasty.
Mr Chana's private practice is based at Spire Hospital Bushey, Hertfordshire, where he conducts the majority of his work, however he also works from the Harley Street Clinic in Central London, the BMI Bishops Wood Hospital, Northwood and the HCA Elstree Outpatient Centre.
Mr Jag Chana is one of the UK's leading Consultant Plastic Surgeons. Based at the Spire Hospital Bushey, he undertakes a broad range of surgical and non-surgical work for both private and NHS patients, specialising in breast surgery and Rhinoplasty (nose surgery).
A consumate professional with a reputation for meticulous attention to detail and delivering exceptional standards of aftercare, Mr Chana is highly regarded by his patients and peers. In particular, he has an understanding, caring nature which patients find personable and especially reassuring. He was made a Consultant at Mount Vernon Hospital, Northwood in 2004, one of the UK's first plastic surgery units that grew to become the leading centre for trainee surgeons from all over the world. In 2006 the unit moved to the Royal Free Hospital London, where Mr Chana remains to this day and now conducts most of his NHS work.
